Ingredients:
Wind and Willow Cinnamon Bread, prepared
1 cup sugar (plus 3 Tbsp. used later)
4 eggs
4 cups milk, hot
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Directions:
Cut or tear bread into 1 inch cubes to measure 6 cups, spread on bottom of 13 x 9" buttered (or sprayed) pan. Beat 1 cup sugar and eggs until
creamy; mix in hot milk, melted butter, vanilla and salt; pour over bread cubes and lightly press down as bread absorbs liquid. Sprinkle
remaining sugar and cinnamon over the top. Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes until set. Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes
before serving.
Options:
Add 1/3 cup raisins or pecans to cubed bread. Top each serving with whipped topping.
